The Bedtime Book Tag

Hello all and happy Thursday! This tag was created by Kelly’s Bookspill and I found it on the Book Tag Index. I thought I’d do this tag since I’ve finally been catching up on some sleep after midterm season. So, without further adieu, let’s get started.

Questions:

  1. What book kept you up all night reading?
  2. What book made you scared to go to sleep?
  3. What book almost put you to sleep?
  4. What book had you tossing and turning in anticipation for its new release?
  5. What book has your dream boyfriend?
  6. What book would be a nightmare to live in?
  7. What book reminds you of nighttime?
  8. What book has a nightmarish cliffhanger?
  9. What book have you actually dreamed about?
  10. What fictional monster would you not like hiding under your bed?

What book kept you up all night reading?  I’ve told this story before but I finished reading Catching Fire in a day and had my mom take me to Barnes and Noble before it closed to buy Mockingjay, which I stayed up all night reading and finished two hours before I had to go to school…I was committed.

What book made you scared to go to sleep?  I’m not even exaggerating when I say that I had nightmares for a week and I seriously could not sleep for like three days straight after reading this book. It’s so freaking good and it’s one of my favorite books but it’s creepy as heck!

What book almost put you to sleep?  It takes a really long time before this book picks up momentum so I won’t lie, I almost dozed off while reading this book.

What book had you tossing and turning in anticipation for its new release?  After reading Six of Crows I was hungry for Crooked Kingdom to come out! So worth the wait!

What book has your dream boyfriend?  Even though Tessa and Will are literally SO perfect together, if Tessa wasn’t with Will then yes, I would be with Will (one of many loves of my life).

What book would be a nightmare to live in?  If you’ve ever read this book, you know why it’d suck to live in this book. With all of the creepy, frustrating, weird things that go on to the main character, it would drive me completely insane if I had to live in this book.

What book reminds you of nighttime?  I associate this series with nighttime just because most of the action and sneaking around happens in the dark. Love these books, can’t wait for Escaping from Houdini!

What book has a nightmarish cliffhanger?  I’ve talked about this SO much but I am still so damn salty about this cliffhanger! I just…I can’t…December needs to get here faster! I need Queen of Air and Darkness in my life now!

What book have you actually dreamed about?  I was a kid when I read this book but I remember dreaming about this book world vividly and it was amazing!

What fictional monster would you not like hiding under your bed?  Okay, so I’m sorry for not providing a picture for this one but I seriously can’t even look it up, but Stephen King’s IT is my worst nightmare! I have many fears- heights, blood, the dark, porcelain dolls, etc.- but clowns make me burst into tears immediately and I’ll sometimes start shaking so…yeah…I can’t watch or read anything with clowns in it.

Okee dokee y’all, those are my answers. Can any of y’all relate to any of my answers? Is anyone else afraid of clowns, or is it just me being a two year old? What are some things that freak you out? Liked any books I mentioned? Let me know all of your thoughts in the comments, I love hearing from y’all!
